Claude Desktop

Claude is particularly good at: technical writing, editing while preserving voice, following a detailed style guide, restructuring content without losing meaning.
Use Claude Projects to maintain persistent instructions across sessions — useful for ongoing writing work where you don’t want to re-explain your style every time.
ChatGPT
Section titled “ChatGPT”Best for: broad general writing, brainstorming, and drafts where you want maximum flexibility.
ChatGPT (GPT-4o) is strong across a wide range of writing tasks and has a large ecosystem of plugins and integrations. The free tier is generous. Less consistent than Claude at following precise stylistic constraints, but a solid all-rounder.
Notion AI

Built directly into Notion’s editor, so there’s no copy-pasting. Useful if your workflow is already Notion-based. Not a replacement for Claude or ChatGPT for serious writing — it’s convenience-first.
Grammarly

Grammarly works as a browser extension and integrates into most text editors and web forms. It catches grammar, spelling, and basic style issues in real time. It’s not a drafting tool — it’s an editing layer on top of your own writing.
